The export control check in SAP GTS Standard only works with master data elements (product and business partner) that are used in the document.

The acelsis Compliance Management module Knowledge Question extends this check to include process-dependent components.

It can be used in various scenarios. The main application is in SAP SD order processing, where the sales employee must answer process-related questions about the business transaction. The answers are taken into account on the basis of an evaluation matrix as part of the GTS check. There, the transaction can be released either directly or via an approval.

With this solution, your export control team can use the SAP GTS system to prove that the knowledge question requirements have been taken into account.

The module can be customised so that other process-related elements that cannot be derived from master data information can also be queried and checked.
